Hi there and welcome to Little Ivy Designs.

My name is Alison Sutherland and I relove, refinish and paint secondhand furniture so that it can find a new life in the 21st Century. My custom designs are often inspired by the natural world and vibrant colours with the simple aim of giving joy alongside the functionality expected from your piece of furniture.

The furniture I take under my wing is painted and sealed in high quality, non-toxic VOC free products that ensure long term durability.

Alongside furniture refinishing, I enjoy making nature inspired interior decorations, lights, and paintings. This has led to the addition of the forest fungi bell jars lights, ivy and vine entwined picture frames, greeting cards, prints and Christmas Eve boxes. These can all be found in the additional products section.

I offer custom painting on furniture, wood, canvas and printed designs. I can source furniture required for painting or create your perfect design on a piece you already own. I also make smaller home décor pieces.

You can collect your furniture directly from the Derby studio or delivery is available throughout the UK for an additional fee (see Shipping in terms and conditions for more details). Smaller items have postage included in the cost (this will be highlighted in the description).
