Shipping
You can collect directly from Derby or shipping is set at a rate of £55 which covers most of the UK mainland. An approved furniture courier is used and takes approx. 1- 2 weeks; however, this can vary a little and may take longer depending on your location.
Please note items are wrapped in a variety of packaging using recyclable materials where possible then covered in heavy duty furniture blankets by the courier before being strapped into the van securely to prevent any movement during transit.
It is helpful if all doorways and staircases are checked for access. The customer should notify Little Ivy Designs of any special requirements and also if extra assistance is required lifting or moving the piece into a desired room, if 2 people are required to move the item it may cost extra, we will always do our best to help.
Please understand that couriers will often travel to certain areas of the country on specific days and cannot completely tailor the service based on one drop, however they will do their best to be as flexible as they possibly can.

Returns and Refunds
We offer the option to return your item for a full refund within 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Any delivery costs incurred including return delivery will not be refunded. The item will need to be sent back with the original courier in the original packaging and inspected for any damage before a refund can be issued.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Unfortunately, sale items and personalised cannot be refunded.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
Please inspect your item whilst the courier is there to check for any issues. In the unlikely event that an item is delivered damaged, you must contact Little Ivy Designs within 24 hours. We will work with you to come to an agreement on repair or return dependant on the scale of damage.
Payment
You can pay in full for a piece on the website or choose to use an installment option at checkout.
Full payment is required before delivery can take place. If installments are not paid as expected, I reserve the right to put the item back on the market.
Installments are non-refundable.
Commissions
Commissions are secured up front with a 50% deposit, the rest is due on completion prior to dispatch.
Commission work will have been discussed in great depth and the final design agreed before completion. If unforeseen circumstances arise whilst working on your piece, I reserve the right to alter the price of the commission accordingly if it involves extra work previously unaccounted for. This will be discussed with you before the additional work is undertaken.
Commissions are non-refundable.
This returns policy is in accordance with distance selling laws.
Storage
If you would like your item to be stored at The Little Ivy Designs HQ after purchase, I am happy to do this. However, should you wish to change your mind after the agreed storage period, a deduction will be made.
Up to two weeks is free of charge, any length of time after that will result in a 50% deduction from the overall refund (not including delivery, this will be refunded back in full). This is to compensate the time the piece has been off the market.
Photographs
All the photographs on this site have been taken with care to represent the actual likeness of the items for sale. Depending on your device and display settings, there might be slight variations in colour. If you are unsure and need to see the exact shade, then please feel free to contact me, I will happily provide you with a paint swatch to try out at home.

Second Hand Upcycles
The furniture pieces selected for painting are nearly always second hand and even often vintage. They have been loved before and hope to be embraced again by their new owner, character, dints and all. A huge amount of work goes into the furniture painting preparation. Surfaces may be sanded, little knocks filled, drawers decoupaged and the painted piece finished with protective wax or topcoat. They may also come with minor imperfections and should not be expected to have a mass-produced factory finish. Any particularly unusual issues with the piece will be fully explained in the items description so please read this fully before committing to buy a product.
Please follow the aftercare guidelines that come with your purchase to ensure it keeps in good condition.
In short, every piece produced by Little Ivy Designs should be as unique as its new owner and the home it lives in.
