Wildflowers bedside drawers

I’d had a set of two bedside drawers knocking about the house for some time so it made sense to tackle this as my first project. They were basic flat pack, pine from the 1990s so I was not too worried if they were a disaster.

Typically me, I went in all in with colour blending, free hand painted flowers and extra detail using Karisma colouring pencils before finishing with matte top coat.

I enjoyed doing them so much that it kick started what I must confess is becoming a furniture painting obsession.

They now sit in my hall and have all my sewing kit in. I know they are meant for the bedside but as you will see I had very different plans for the other set.
